The Slovenian Cultural Garden Association (“SCGA”) is focusing on blossoming again! For a long period of time, not much was happening. Almost 2 years ago, a new team took over and are trying to make things happen!
- We have re-secured our 501(c)3 status
- We have received grants from Urad Vlade RS ZA Slovence V Zamejstru in PO Svetu (Slovenians Living Abroad) and from the Frances and Jane S. Lausche Foundation
- We have started a membership drive
- We would gladly appreciate donations to the SCGA to help us nurture.
We have had multiple meetings with the City of Cleveland and will continue to “push” to get the fountain fixed and retaining walls and drainage repaired.
Most of all, the Slovenian Community is starting to re-engage again! We welcome that! The SCGA should be something that all Slovenians participate in and are proud to be part of this great organization.
